Its kinda lame cuz sc2 campaign was fun, although the story sucked and a lot of the missions were WoW Quests.

If the 20missions are all quality and good stuff, then its fine. If they have fight generic taldarim bad guys and dodge the lava filler in those 20 missions then I will be disappoint.

Id buy it for multi regardless even if there was no campaign for full price but Id not buy anything else blizzard besides LotV cuz they lied and tried to rip us off. Dont make promises you cant keep Blizzard.

29 missions too long? Seriously? My only complaint about the original campaign was the sheer number of missions where you had to wait 30 minutes before anything exciting happened. It also felt very scripted. They should have made the missions more diverse rather than reduce the number. /Sigh

This makes me sad. I have to admit I have hardly played any SCII multiplayer, but I played through the entire single player and loved it.

Didn't blizzard claim the whole point of splitting the campaign into three separate games was so they could work on bringing lots of quality content to each release?

I loved the campaign both on SC1 and SC2...replayed the campaigns in all levels of difficulty...it wasn't that long and it did leave me wanting more and waiting for HotS.

What you describe, with the exception of differing maps, is pretty much analogous to chess. :-P A set number of effective opening moves. Certain pieces must be built/moved in order to progress with certain strategies. Further branching and reacting based on your opponents moves.

I don't play SC2 to play online, I play it for the amazing campaign modes and playing against the computer. Don't charge me 60 bucks for a game that is shorter then intended.

Now that it's been pointed out to me, yea it felt a bit long. They could have combined a few of the missions into one to feel better. But I don't play online at all anymore so I don't think I'll get HotS right away, or ever possibly.
