Best advice is to read reviews.

You will get people that have had personal problems with their own purchase and will tell you its the worst drive since sliced bread, yet everyone else hasn't had an issue. This goes for everything else also.

The issues with drives using the Sandforce SF-2200 controller were/are rather common...

Also, sliced bread is not a drive and is generally considered a good thing.

^^this
There are quite a few people on these forums who have returned or gotten rid of their vertex drives because they were faulty. Constant BSODs, freezes and bad cold boots.

What made it worse is that ocz blamed faulty sata cables and user error rather than owning up and fixing the issue.

Have you considered getting the seagate barracuda 7200.12 drives? I was stuck between the spinpoint and barracuda, in the end I went for the barracuda as it was cheaper
Not sure how they are priced where you are though.

I'll definitely look into them. They were pretty expensive and I think Seagate just kicked up prices, along with everybody else.

Any problems with the RAM? I noticed my old RAM was 9-9-9-24-2N, not 9-9-9-24.

About to pull the trigger on this build in the next week or two, pending funds.

Any last minute changes? I only question the RAM.

Also, what fans are recommended right now? Need a bunch of 120's.
