Yesterday we attended an ASUS motherboard technology seminar in Taipei where we were introduced to its range of upcoming Intel X79 Express chipset based motherboards. These motherboards will support second generation Intel Core i7 processors for high-end desktop systems using the new and larger LGA 2011 socket.

Having the I/O interfaced with what looks to be the northbridge cooling (can't watch video) looks really nice.

So many small & fast moving fans.

Not sure if want.

Also how tall is that southbridge heatsink? Looks pretty beefy.

I'd still rather have the Gigabyte UD5.

Thought the Rampage would be my next board but I dont like it

Prefer the X79 Premium or the UD7

so the fan on the I/O is just an exhaust?
Isn't that why 99% of cases have a fan right there that is 120mm?

I like the p67 better, sorry ASUS. If they managed to put a fan on the South Bridge
and still fit larger cards that will be be nice

A mATX Sabertooth board would be nice.

what i dislike in rampage IV (next news in source) - too much space between x16 slots
but sabertooth is ok with that
Anybody noticed that the guy had a cut on one of his fingers?, maybe the heatsinks are a bit sharp lol.

But it looks like a great mobo with 8 slots for epic rammage.
