[Kotaku] Skyrim PC Requirements - Page 14

While Simpsonator might have been more gentler with you, he's right... Actually it's fifth iteration of Elder Scrolls series... aka Skyrim. Who played Black Ops 7? I couldn't even bother with the first one. *rolleyes*

So... Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim or just ES: Skyrim... or just... zomg***reakingwonderwow Skyrim.

But MW1 can still be called Call of Duty 4, right?
I'm just going to call it Skyrim :|

So... One can only hope, and after all it's only logical that the older the engine gets the more stable it'll be.

lol... Oh come on. But yeah, you can call it CoD 4 or call Skyrim Elder Scrolls V.

P.S. I don't think that this "hostility" goes into favor of you getting Skyrim over Saints Row The Third.
So... In Skyrim you can yell at creatures. >.>. That didn't sound right... Shout in dragon language and do awesome stuff.

I don't know based on the other games it could have terrible graphics and still be a really fun game.

This. Graphics are the thing that concerns me the least. I've seen it demo on 360... and it looked great (enough), and pc version is gonna be at least the same till moders get their hands on it.

I'm concerned about it being generally a lame port, with terrible UI and everything dumbed down (It doesn't seem like it atm, except for the UI, but on the other hand they haven't shown PC version). I just mostly hope it'll stay true to ES games in terms of questing, guilds, and gameplay (be what you want and do what you want). I have high hope for the end product being that last two games went GOTY.

I'm suspecting that Goran H. is actually Todd Howard.

His interest to the title is almost annoying.

Just pre-purchased the collector's edition yesterday (when I picked up BF3)

I cannot possibly wait. It'll hold me over until Diablo 3...at which point I'll turn into a filth spewing hot mess.

Guys. There will likely be 6 levels of graphics. I speculate:

Ultra - 6970
High - GTX 260
Med-High - 8800GT
Med - X1800XT
Med-Low - 8600GT
Low - 6800GT

Assume higher levels include AA, MSAA, AF, Higher texture res, Higher res

We have to consider the promise of higher resolution textures. I'd imagine they are twice the resolution of the XBOX360. And we have AA, Super-Sample AA, AF, and higher gaming resolutions. IIRC, XBOX360 maxes at 720P.
Therefore, I SPECULATE that medium settings will be equal to XBOX360. And the visual appeal is twice as good for the Ultra settings.

Once again, speculation, but I'm confident.
