Do you typically find great deals on NVIDIA cards around the holidays? I don't know if I should buy my 2nd GTX 570 right now or wait and see. I don't know what you typically find good deals on around that time as far as computer components go.

There are always good deals on Black Friday/Cyber Monday.

Check Camelegg. You can track pricing trends there on pretty much anything listed on Newegg.

last year the gtx 470 was on sale for $189 ( A TOTAL STEAL), lasted about 1 1/2 hours. Totally worth waiting, gtx 570 will probably be like $220!

Depends on the retailer and their inventory I believe.

To get an idea, you can Google around and see the Black Friday deals from last year to get a rough idea of what to expect, but with some newer gen cards (e.g. http://www.google.com/search?gcx=c&s...ck+friday+2010)

I think you should probably wait, it wouldn't hurt if you're satisfied with your current build.

Yeah, I'm trying to be patient. Usually I'm about as patient as the guy in my avatar.

Yeah that's when I got mine, was going to purchase a 460 for $180, but saw the MSI and ASUS 470s were below $200 so I grabbed one.

I plan on picking up a new graphics card and a hard drive or two. Hopefully there will still be some in stock after I get out of work!

I'd keep checking the OCN Marketplace, I got my gtx 480 for 220$ about 6-9 months ago. I've seen several go on sale that are ~200$ for a gtx 480 which is just an absolute amazing price.

Yeah I saw an ASUS TFII for $290 up there but it's triple slot. Plus, I like matching cards. I'm a wierdo.
