Do you have a usb device plugged in? Do you have the intel drivers installed? Has windows update finished installing all the updates?

Yes i installed the drivers (LAN/INF Utility/Intel Engine Interface) as indicated in the guide and after that i installed the RST driver.

And no, no usb device plugged in.

Sometimes it just sits there on the Starting Windows message with no logo, and then after sometime it flies in.

I also did that, i restarted it after windows applied the updates, and i got the problem. And i also restarted when there were no more updates available. Service pack 1 is already installed.

Like i said the only drivers i installed at the beginning was the gygabyte lan driver, INF utility driver. Then i installed the Rapid Store Technology driver that i downloaded from the intel website. I believe there was also another driver called Intel Engine interface on the cd but i didn`t install it at that time, but windows update downloaded it anyway (after the installation of RST.

Any clues? Do i need any other driver that wasnt on my list? (Maybe the problem is on the RST driver or because i installed it before the Intel Engine Interface, or whatever)

I'm not sure atm, keep googling fixes for it, or maybe someone else could help? lol

try reinstalling drivers and such like you are thinking.

I am busy today (studying for midterms), but tomorrow I should be able to help more.

I'll see if my friend can help. He will post on here if he can.

Any sugestion?

When i followed the guide without a freesh install this didnt happened, but also i didnt install the Rapid Storage Technology driver from intel website.

@edit
RST icon on the start menu takes decades to work.
Sits for a long time as "RST service is not running".
My brain is about as good as a tossed salad right now because I've been awake for like 24 hours, but I do know one thing: Intel's RST's default Services.msc setting is "Automatic (delayed start)". It's just an optimal setting. The driver loads immediately during Windows startup though, but that service is more of a monitor/notifier type of thing which means it's never needed straight away.

From my understanding of what Sean told me, Windows is freezing during startup. However, I don't know if I have the mental capacity to read the existing posts, but I know I can read new ones.

Hi there. Thanks for helping.
When the SSD first arrived i installed the OS without following the guide, but then i saw it, and i started following it right away. I enabled AHCI at the BIOS and did a fresh install, using all of the settings listed during the guide.
The thing is, now almost all the time and windows starts, the "Starting Windows" message appears, but without the windows logo. It usually takes about 1 minute or so for it to appear, and the computer will start as properly. But it also happened that the logo didn't show at all, and system repair started all of the sudden. So it seems i have a problem.
I installed the following drivers at the first restart -> LAN driver/inf utility/intel engine interface, and as the last one, the RST driver.

Do you have any tips to solve this?

You're welcome!

I hate to say it, but I recommend formatting and starting over one more time, but without following that guide. Keep it as simple as possible. No tweaks. Just keep AHCI mode and install Intel's RST again, but that's it.

So RST is actually 100% needed on a fresh install? I hope it's working properly since verytime i start the system it takes some time to get working. It keeps showing me that message "RST serve is not running", and then it gets on.

I'll try that out, because honestly i think some of those or one of those settings (recommended or optional) are not worknig properly on my system.

I'll install everything again, at least following the erase guide.

Thanks man!
