It was already connected on that port, but on the top entry. (I though both top and bottom entries were SATA3, lol.) I switched to the bottom entry and as soon as i booted my system i could tell the difference. Not to mention like i said th RST saying it was 3gb/s before, and 6gb/s after.

Now i don't really know where to plug my old SATA3 HDD.
That's very strange because both of those white ports are SATA III while the 4 blue ports are SATA II.

Of course the black ports are SATA III too, but these are the Marvell ports.

So, I would try the HDD in the top white SATA III port just to see if it works as SATA III.

Anyway, which port is it connected to now? Be specific.

I don't know.

Oh and you can plug your other sata 3 drive in the port below the one you plugged your SSD xD

Yeah it was working before but with half the speed

You're welcome! Report back though if the HDD doesn't work as SATA III when plugged into the other white SATA port.

Really weird, HDD is now on the top SATA port and RST says it`s going on 3gb/s

@ Actually, i removed the HDD to confirm the model, and while checking Western Digital website i could confirm that the model WD10EARS is Sata 3gb/s and not 6gb/s, which means the store ****ed me on this one.

So i guess even if before the SSD installation the HDD was plugged on the 6gb/s connector (Yes, they did install the SATA2 HDD on the SATA3 port from the beggining), it was only giving me 3gb/s, right? I mean, plugging the HDD now on the top SATA3 port (which gives me 3gb/s) means i'll have no performance loss, or should i plug on the right SATA2 port? This doesnt really explain why my TOP SATA3 port is not giving me 6gb/s to my SSD.

Yes, though the drive can't even take advantage of SATA 3 bandwidth anyways.

You will not have any performance loss, the drive can't even saturate SATA 2 bandwidth.
