New build some advice please :D

OK, so I am going to be building a new rig. BF3 is taxing my current laptop. So, I have a budget of 2k and this is what I came up with.. I missing a monitor, KB, and cd-rom. Easy stuff I can get locally if needed.

Need advice on each of these, goods, bads, replacements? why?
I will be water cooling down the line. I have a Fesser 480 quad, MCP 350, and a few other odd and ends that will be used down the road.

Need advice on a monitor please.. 24" and above..

Thats a sweet rig!

I would get a crucial m4 for the ssd otherwise that's a really good rig!

I second the M4, Why not wait for SB-E. Isn't it released middle of next month? Otherwise I've heard the i7-2700K is only a cherry picked 2600K, I could be wrong but its just what I have been reading. Its just an overpriced 2600K. If you are only gaming I would go with an i5-2500K or wait for SB-E.

Everything was looking good until the RAM. Then you started allocating money very quickly.

Seriously, though, the motherboard, CPU, and RAM seem a bit expensive for what you get.

Pass on the 2700K. What are you using it for?

This guy is right on. You seem to have a high budget, but why not still save money where you can?

ahh i didnt even look at the ram xD He should go with some $50 CL9 1600MHz ram. I know with a $2.2k budget you can reach 2x 3GB GTX 580s easily. Which will make a very future proof system

I would highly recommend getting a couple HD 6950 1GB's over the 560 Ti's. The 6950 has proven to be faster than the 560 Ti, as well, tests have shown that the 1GB 6950 performs as well as the 2BG version due to the GPU not being able to utilize more than 1GB of memory (can you say cash grab?).

http://www.tomshardware.com/charts/2...iast,2664.html (shows 6950 xfire vs 560 ti sli, as well as 6950 1GB vs 2GB)

All good suggestions.. Guys I have not built a system or even kept up with the new technology that has been pumped out lately.. This is why I am asking the experts ( you guys here) for help and advice... I heard the same thing about the 27k.. supposed to be a sick chip... just what I heard.. I am going to be gaming. video encoding, photo editing, building websites with this rig... 2k I thought was a fair not over kill budget? 5k will be over doing it IMO. Keep the suggestions rolling guys!

For the cooling i would recommend either a Noctua NH-D14 or NH-C14. Both of which are much cheaper for similar performance to the H-70. With your kind of budget though i would just go for a full watercooling loop.
