Cant Overclock Anymore?

Thread Starter
For sometime now my overclock reset itself for whatever reason and i just left it. Recently my rig has become VERY laggy, even while typing this thread its lagging. Im going to reformat in a bit but for some reason i pc just wont overclock anymore. Ive got a P45 DQ6 and everytime i set my overclock up, even a very modest one which i know will boot (200mhz or so) i save the bios but upon boot its still at stock...any ideas?

the battery on the board that saves the CMOS, maybee it is out of juice? try replacing that.
