-- Logitech G35 vs Steelseries 7H --

Hey!

I've decided to ditch my old gaming headset and make a significant upgrade. So far I've narrowed down my choice to two headsets:

Steelseries 7H:

Logitech G35:

I've heard plenty of positive reviews for both sets which makes the decision even more difficult.

Personally, the most important aspect for me is sound quality.

If anyone here has any experience with either set, I'd like to hear what you think of them.

Thanks!
Dave

From my understand, the G35 is the better of the 2 (Or atleast the more preferred answer).

http://rasta-gaming.com/forum/thread/2740 <--- Many threads end up like this one.

While many people say that a good pair of headphones with a clip-on Zalman mic is better, the G35 is one of the only headphones people actually recommend as a "good" pair of headphones.

I say grab the Logitechs and never look back on this one smile.gif

Thanks.

The more I look at it, the more I can see a slight lean toward the G35.

Forgot to mention...

I don't have a soundcard, so would this effect my choice? I know the 7H has a built-in soundcard, and as far as I know the G57 doesn't.

Perhaps someone here could give me their two cents.

After looking at countless reviews, it seems that the majority still believes that the G35 is the better buy.

I read a couple unbiased reviews on the 7H and none of them claimed that the built-in soundcard had an exceptional improvement in sound quality (if they were even able to tell at all). While it had good audio quality across the board, it does not justify its $40 price premium over the G35.

Hope this helps!

Yeah, I think I'll go with the G35.
