H100 Fan Headers

The stock fans are 3 pin and linear voltage controlled, the block has 4 pin fan headers. If a 4 pin pwm fan is connected to the H100 will it run in pwm mode controlled by a pwm signal?

If you connect a PWM fan to a 4-pin PWM fan header, then it will operate in PWM mode. If it is not a PWM fan header (ie; 3-pin voltage) then it will not.

But does the corsair h100 have functioning 4 pin pwm fan headers or is the future corsair link required. Just odd that the stock fans are 3 pin and the connection is 4 pin.

I believe it's voltage.
