Fixed my constant kicked by admin/ DC from server errors...heres how

Thread Starter
I decided to make a separate thread because it seems like a lot of people are missing my post in the official thread about this issue.

1st download the PB files from here:
http://www.mediafire.com/?48simdao99drwqw (I've already ran them for virus') and extract them to your BF3 folder. My path was ProgramFiles x86>Electronic Arts> Battlefield 3 but most seem to be ProgramFilesx86,Origin Games>battlefield 3. Anyway, overwrite/replace the files if it asks you to.

Then in your BF3 folder click and run pbscv. Now delete the entire PB folder and exit out of origin completely and reboot your PC. Log back into Origin as admin, right click on Battlefield 3 and click "repair install". If you see a message like "error: could not install punkbuster because this file already exists" it didn't work or you left out a step. The 1st 3 times I tried it I was leaving out running pbsvc and I got the error every time after the repair install. The last time I did it it finished np and I could log in to PB enabled servers and play without kicks or DCs.

I hope it helps some of you because this issue has been driving me crazy all evening.

The" you have been kicked by admin" and " You have been disconnected from the server" error is what I got all evening for hours til I did the steps I listed. Ea/DICE says its a PB issue and they are working on it but I have had no issues since I did this.

Thanks. I've read on the EA forums a few people said it didn't help them. I'm not sure if they did it incorrectly or maybe it really didn't but I've been playing with no kicks/DC since I did it. Still have a game crash every now and then though.

So I'm a bit confused, when I run pbscv, do I hit uninstall?

I just did the 1st option. I think it was repair or re install? It pops up a window and after each line runs it will say OK in green letters. Then I just deleted the entire PB folder. I don't think it would really matter which option you choose because the end result is still deleting the entire PB folder and letting Origin re install it. Close everything and reboot. Then in Origin right click BF3, repair install, when it gets down re -downloading PB and finalizing log in and try it out. The 1st few times I tried it after it finalized I kept getting the "error cant install PB as this file already exists" or something like that. The last time I did it I didn't get that and have been playing pretty much all night with no kicks/DCs.
