Go to this thread for the most help.

My set for 506FSB. It's aggressive and NB is H2O cooled. You won't need that much with your higher multiplier.

Read through that thread before you go on, get a good understanding of the GTL settings and skews. That's what gets you the high FSB.

4 sticks of RAM is going to hold you back. Start with 2.

Use OCCT for short term CPU testing.

thanks for the info! I run (2) 4gb sticks.

where do i get OCCT from?

I been thinking about liquid cooling my NB, but is it needed? might as well do it huh

D/L OCCT from here

http://www.ocbase.com/perestroika_en/index.php?Download

If you already have a loop... might as well

Most welcome,

Have a look at this link - may be helpful...

I use one like this:

http://www.frozencpu.com/products/20...?tl=g30c89s147

I believe in cooling the NB on intel 775 OCs. At least with a side-door fan that blows directly to it. For 500-something FSB I feel good having a block on.

The hard part is carefully removing the heatpipe system and separating the NB pipe from the power phase block. The power phase block will need to go back on.
