Are my GTX 570 cards...about to die?

I've tried many different drivers, I have this annoying issue where Deus Ex always crashes when I enable DX11. I've had one or two crashes in Crysis 2 and Red Faction:Guerilla.(However they play perfectly,so maybe it was a once off)

Deus EX crashes like my driver stopped working and sometimes only way to use my PC again is to reset the whole computer.

Anyway my main issue is...my SLI set up is fluctuating a lot...as seen in the screenshot.

I get constant 60-120FPS in Games and then all of a sudden it drops to 20FPS or so.

Arkhum Asylum PhysX set on high is smooth as butter until I get to Scarecrow levels or Bane boss fight.

Looking at the screenshot, is that normal guys, while I'm gaming?

Me just browsing the net, my Gpu usage spikes and Gpu temp, it's weird

Any suggestions?

Thanks.
My System.

Maybe its heating up to much? Have you tried changing the thermal paste on it?

Clock it back to stock and see ? And see if its ok. Maybe one or both cards dont stand your OC with stock volts.

Evga 570 SC are 797 stock. memory at 1950 ( i think )

Changing it back to stock has no effect it's pretty much the same thing, also changing Thermal Paste...no I haven't.

Nor do I know how to, never bothered with it as I only bought the cards this year around March-April.

Btw: Here is a pic of it on stock and sitting idle, only thing open is the browser and on this website:

I'm thinking I might have to go buy a GTX 580 3GB(Gigabyte) and be done with it,I'm tired of all these issues.

BF3 beta was running smooth at 70-80FPS Caspian Border and then it will drop randomly to 30 or so and then back up. <<<Horrible Experience.

I'm not sure how I will go about sending my cards back to the online store(They are very good with this) ...because they might not see a issue with it and just charge me shipping to send it back.

The thing is BF3 is my most anticipated Game of the year and I need my PC for other activities, especially for my Job.

So if I go and send the cards for repair, I would be without a PC for a good Month

Anyways what are your thoughts guys? Buy a GTX 580 3GB or try and repair these cards?

Cheers.

A single GTX 580 will perform nowhere near the level of two GTX 570's, so you will be downgrading yourself. It sounds a lot more like you're experiencing driver issues. My suggestion would be to follow this guide to the T and install the latest WHQL drivers:

http://www.evga.com/forums/tm.aspx?m=1174372

If this does not work, try to an older stable driver set like 266.58. I wouldn't give up hope yet on your current cards.
