I think I listed out pretty much all reasonable combinations of fan and rad arrangement (assuming we can call push-pull w/ shroud(s) reasonable). I've read several opinions from several places where conflicted information is present; some say pull is more efficient, some say push is more efficient. Efficiency also varies by fan RPM and rad FPI. Shrouds complicate the mix even more.

So what are the general opinions here on the most effective fan arrangement(s)? If possible, please post graphs, charts, whatever you can to support positions. I'd love to know, personally, and think this might make a useful resource for future searches.

Low fans for pull. High fans for push.

Shroud is good. I prefer it over push/pull because you have to buy less fans.

Do shrouds work with pull-only setups? I understand what they do for push, but not for pull.
