Building a bf3 capable rig

Thread Starter
I haven't been on this site in years as you may or may not be able to tell by my sig rig. Anyways I'm looking to purchase a machine that will be play bf3. I dont really care about playing it on high resolution. I'd say medium settings on 1080p would be fine for me. I need everything except for maybe a video card. I have an ati 4870. Not sure if that will hold up. No need for a screen too. Just a mobo CPU ram psu and gpu. Case and other peripherals I can find on my own. I'm located I'm Canada so if your posting links please limit them to Canada only. No worries tho if you cant find links. I just need to know what quality parts to buy and I'll do the rest. Thanks

what's your budget? If you're looking for medium and semi cheap:

intel i5 2500k cpu http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...82E16819115072
gskill ripjaws x 8 GB ddr3 cl9 ram http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...82E16820231426
asus mobo http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...82E16813131770
msi gtx 460 hawke http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...82E16814127518

hard to tell you without a budget, but that's an option (and it has a bit of future proofing in it as well).
