Whats the point? - Page 2

Well I just have to point out that the thing that sets apart watercooling is not idle temps, its load temps because water has a higher specific heat. Are your load temps the same as stock heatsink?

Say what?

My idle temps are 20-22c. It's not just load temps.. those are absolutely abnormal numbers.

You idle temps will always be higher than your ambient temperature unless you are running a chilled w/c loop.

@ OP. I agree with whoever said you should remount the cpu block, that will most likely fix your problem. If not then it would almost have to be a water circulation problem (Pump not pumping water or not pumping it fast enough)

I was saying his 50c temps are abnormal, not mine. Note the text I quoted.

Noted. My statement still stands. Air cooling can yield the same idle temp as water cooling, you'll notice the difference on load temps.

Those are very abnormal temps, especially at idle. I've seen improper mounts and improper TIM distribution have dire effects, but this sounds more like a pump problem, especially if you don't hear or feel anything from the pump. If it was a custom loop you'd be able to diagnose it alot easier, unfortunately on a closed loop system you're stuck guessing. If re-seating it doesn't work you should probably return/RMA it.
