BF3 Slow Multiplayer (Help) - Page 2

I thought it was taking forever to load the maps, rather than taking forever to connect to the game. Might be both.

Edit: We also still have copper lines. My ISP has no incentive to upgrade their speed because there is no competition. We also get ripped off when it comes to TV as they only have about a third of the channels most people get for the same price.

It may be an AMD issue???

I have super slow internet. Wireless (not wifi or via cell phone).
It is only 386k with 90+ ping and i still have 30 seconds or so before next game.

I am wondering the same thing, though it just doesnt make sense that it would be. The beta ran perfectly but this is so slow that its unacceptable.

Actually I am experiencing this just now. Very slow getting into a server, like you say.

I don't know what happened, but whatever it is, its good. Sometimes I am loading the maps in under 10 seconds after the end game screen closes. Other times, I load in the game with 30 seconds until game starts. Its not very consistent but its so much faster than before.
