Has anyone ever used this Fan Shroud on their build?
Has anyone ever used it on 480 rads?

Unless the shroud is sealed on contact with the rad, I would see it being pretty useless but you can just seal the area around your fan to the rad and it would do the same job I believe... ?

Would it not be cheaper to just rip out the blades of an old fan? Or a cheap 5 dollar one?

I made my own plenum on a previous build - gutted three dead fans. Didn't notice any temp drops but it seemed louder afterwards. It may have acted like a sound box.

I wouldn't bother to be frank.

It worked on my h50, just gutted a fan. Dropped 4c with added better fans. + I got to cut up that crappy corsair fan.

Push pull would do a better job performace wise than this shroud right?

I am currently in the process of ordering rads for my build and if Push+Pull will give me the best performance than will i need to buy shrouds at all?

I am completely new to this push pull thing. I want to make sure i understand how to install the fans exactly. Do put one fan on one side of the rad that blows into the case, and the other fan on the other side blowing air out?
If you place both of the fans facing the same direction blowing a stream of air through the rad that is push pull.
That is one on either side mate.

Push-Pull as damocash explained really seems to help on high fin count (dense) rads.
My GTX120 has 30 fins per inch, so I use p-p on it, my SR-1 280 has has 9 fins per inch, so I just run pull fans (since it has a built in plenum on the pull side).
