Need help getting over 950 core HD 6950

Thread Starter
I have the Asus Hd 6950 DCII, so cooling and CCC limits are not an issue.

What is the absolute MAXIMUM voltage I can go to on this card without killing it instantly and for long term use, not benching sessions.

i have clocked 2 different 6950s, on air, and found that 1200mv is more than enough to hit the max clock on both cards and still keep them within ok temperatures.

powercolor 1gb 6950 i got to 970/1500 on 1175 i think, twin fan and temps were warm but never went past 85c gaming
gigabyte reference 2gb unlocked to 6970, wont go past 920-930 and stay stable, and required about 1185mv to do so

thats just my experience

On air 1.2v is the max I would go, max load temp 60~65°C.

On water 1.25v for daily 24/7.
