Rip gtx 480. - Page 2

Good luck on the 480! An Awesome card! I just went from a 470 to a 560Ti, and while i am enjoying the cooler running 560Ti, the 470 was a beast when it came to graphics power! So I know the 480 is a freaking Monster!!

Thanks! If she's truly gone I'll miss her, she was such a beast when released but you most likely remember the massive Fermi bashing. Though my 480 at around 900 Core could defeat any single AMD GPU there is even today, wheres the 5870 at?

Had to RMA the 5870. While waiting for it I purchased an EVGA GTX 465 that was actually a GTX 470. Fell in love with it. So when the 5870 came back i sold it. Then the heat of the 470 kinda bothered me so now i am with a 560Ti. I like to bounce around a bit.

480s on water are awesome, and indeed my 480 eats up BF3 at 900 mhz core

I do need quite a bit of voltage for that though, hope it doesn't die before Nvidia's next-gen cards are here

what voltage were you running yours at?
