So 'ere i have some moneyz and im looking to buy a fairly high graphical PC game... I have Crysis 2 and i run that on Ultra with the full HD upgrade with no problem. Also i've heard alot about Battlefield 3 is a good game i haven't played any of the Battlefields.

Battlefield 3 is a great game with highly polished visuals. Right up there with the capabilities of CryEngine. If you are looking solely for Singleplayer game, BF3 may not be to your liking. SP in BF3 is extremely restrictive in terms of where you can go and do, not like Crysis where you can attack a target from a multitude of different ways.

Having said that, the Multiplayer is the biggest aspect of BF3 and this is where it shines. The luscious graphics make the multiplayer gameplay all that more immersive and breath-taking. With the ability to use vehicles like Jets and Attack Helicopters, it just adds a new dimension to your generic FPS shooter as it introduces new battlefield strategies.

Hmm that made me think, I might get BF3 im also looking at NFS Shift 2 or Hot Pursuit.

Haven't played NFS games in a while (like maybe 2005), so I can't really give much help on that side. I'm an all-round gamer so I do intend to get the NFS selection of games on Steam, try to get into it again at some point. Thing is I've already got several games I'm juggling with already so don't think its particularly wise to get more

@Gawdz You could try Bad Company 2 if you haven't played it yet, I loved the campaign there, haven't played its multi player but they say the mp is better than the campaign .

@Laten - How does the Battlefield 3 single player campaign compares to the Bad Company 2 campaign if you have played that ?
Looking only at the single player & if it is around as good as BC2 I might get it , but the not so great campaign reviews have stopped me from buying it yet.

wow u were able to run crysis 2 in ultra/texture pack/dx11 on a GTX 560 Ti? What fps were you getting? With my GTX 580 i was getting ~50-55 fps.

yes BF3 is amazing graphically. You are like me enjoy looking at graphical games

I must say Crysis 2 is more 'cartoon' style graphics and BF3 is more realistic graphics you will see in everyday world. Both are amazing...

If you want graphics, go with Battlefield 3. It is an outstanding looking game. Best I've ever seen to be honest. And the multiplayer is a blast.
