Sleeving Powersupply Question

Hello,,

I wan to sleeve my cooler master extreme 550Watt
ill buy my kit from ftwpc and ill para cord.

How many ft i need and how many pieces of precut heatsrhink.

Easy enough to figure out. Measure your cables. Add about 10% for waste. But if you figure you have roughly 53 cables @ an average of 1.5-2' each. Between 75-100' of cording. Add extra to be safe.

Looking at the connections i would say you need ~144 pieces of HS. So but 175-200. Again always run long so you dont come up 2 cables short. Measure 3 times cut once.

130-140ft would be advisable. Without going into too much detail, a 500W by Silverstone (which we have calculated) will use a little over a 100ft. You'll want 5 bags of heatshrink to go with it. You could probably get away with 4 bags but it would be a pain to be just short on heatshrink. If it's the first time sleeving, it will allow for a handful of mistakes before getting it perfect.
