Anyone own the Twin Frozr III Power Edition/OC?

Thread Starter
So I decided to Return my 560ti and grab the 570 Twin Frozr III PowerEdition/OC

First of all a few questions:
1. Is MSI a good manufacturer? I've never used them before.....so im not familiar with if they are good or not.

2. How cool does the card stay? Does the card feel cheap or quality?

3. Do you think it is worth the 20 bucks extra over a normal 570? Thanks

MSI is a great company. Their warranty and rma service is outstanding. That card should stay pretty cool, twin frozr usually do. They do exhaust heat into your case though. The card is definitely worth the extra 20$ due to the power phasing for extra overclockability. I think you've made a fine choice.

I was going to buy the MSI GTX 580 Twin Frozr II Edition, But after realizing that BF3 isnt that demanding I'm going with the MSI GTX 570 Twin Frozr III Edition.

MSI are a great company, really really good support, Great overclocking abilities etc, and for the $20 its totally worth it

What exactly is the difference between these 2:
http://us.msi.com/product/vga/N570GT...ozr-II-OC.html
http://us.msi.com/product/vga/N570GT...dition-OC.html

I think i got the "Power Edition" is the difference just 20mhz OC?

PE/OC = triple voltage control

I own the 6950 PEOC TFIII... great cooler, wonderful card.

MSI GTX 570 Power Edition

Power Edition Architecture
- Triple overvoltage function support by MSI Afterburner to raise overclock capability.
- 6+1 Phase PWM Design provides better overclock stability.

Triple Overvoltage means you can overclock a HELL lot more, Also a lot more stability.
No point buying this one if you aren't going to overclock though.

I'll probably OC it some. Nothing extreme but something comfortable (although Im a newb to it, so i'll probably have to get some help from yall)

Are the fan designs/cooler/heatsink the same between the 2 versions?
Yes they are the same, I Think the fans are a tiny bit more better for airflow, seen as 3x the voltage would create shizz loads of heat

I bought the MSI 560Ti TF3 Hawk, and I can tell you nothing about it feels cheap or flimsy. Haven't taken the time to OC it yet.
