Looking for New Gaming Monitor

Thread Starter
Hey guys.

I'm tired of screen tearing while gaming. I have been nothing but disappointed by my Samsung 2770HD. This monitor is great for everything else except for high end gaming. I need something that will not give me screen tearing or at least very close to no screen tearing.

I've heard good things about the 120hz monitors?
Can anyone recommend me a great Gaming monitor that will run smooth ?

That seems to be the only answers i ever get .

Even with VSYNC turned on i feel that it is not that smooth.
Would like recommendations of Good Gaming Monitors.

It's not a tearing problem if you have vsync on. Get a 120hz monitor if you want smooth, and if your gpu can handle 100+ fps on your games.

What if your gfx card can only handle like 30-40fps at native and still tears/ghosts?

Yeah exactly, Mine still tears or at least feels like it even at lower FPS....
