Good to see some hard evidence supporting my belief that OCZ is garbage.

Sounds entirely like user error if a part dies due to overclocking.

Also companies that have very high quality RMA services probaly have a high percentage. I imagine Logitech RMA is extremely high, because they have basically a no questions asked, keep the old item replacement policy.

Not hard to believe, mine blew up when it was at its limit but not over. :/

And that's nice to see how WD are actually as bad as I thought.

The way they do this is a pretty meaningless calculation in terms of which brands you should buy. What this doesn't take into account is failure rates beyond the warranty period. You could theoretically have 100% of your products die 1 day after the RMA period ends--the company could potentially have a near-zero percent "RMA rate" (since the products didn't die within the RMA period) but have very poor quality of products.

I'm not saying it invalidates the RMA rate results, but it doesn't mean it's a good method of determining which brand you should go with.

Is it unlikely that my example is universally true? Sure. Does that mean it can't happen? Nope.
