Shall I dare push 1.65v+ through my chip and attempt to bench it at 4.7GHz on Cinebench to compare? biggrin.gif

If only I wasn't so scared about frying my chip...

LOL Cinebench scores are definitely not worth frying your chip over, especially not a 1090T... I say everyone who posts their score here is a winner biggrin.gif

I know frown.gif 4.2GHz is my voltage wall, after that it takes much more voltage to raise the clocks. 1.6v for 4.4GHz to be stable enough to pass cinebench. I can only wonder what 4.7GHz would lead me up to. Lol. I am so curious.

Well when you ever decide to upgrade, go crazy and push that chip over the edge!

I have taken my 8120 to 1.62v. You have bigger nm arch. I would say it should be fine but dont take my word for it. At all.

Also 8-core is better at cinebench than thuban when BD can go to 5Ghz and thuban cannot. The right way to compare chips is to take them to the max clock and then compare.

Some BD's can get 5GHz. They typically get like 4.6GHz-4.8GHz though. but yeah, I've been up to 1.63v and I'm only on water. I don't really feel safe going higher without extreme cooling. Who knows.. could be perfectly safe.

Here's my 1100T at several different overclocks. The best i could manage was 7.60 at a 4.33 GHz overclock, done just by changing the multiplier with a voltage of 1.55... It got up to a nice and toasty 58 degrees on my h60 with a push pull fan setup.
btw the score at 4.03 ghz was 7.04, its hard to see through the box.
