I've ordered some D2FC-F-K(50M) from a guy in china who usually sells me microswitches. Gonna try them instead of my D2F-01F.

Just ordered some off Fleabay so I'll see if these are indeed authentic or cheap copies of another Chinese-made switch.

This could be a fundamental paradox involved here thinking.gif .

I've just discovered that Huano Blue Shell switches really don't feel like anything I've ever tried. They're like a weird hybrid of Omron and Huano. They're light to press, kinda like an Omron, but they have that Huano tactility and audible click. It's so strange.
Some alternate version of Huano blue shells arrived recently, with darker upper casing and brighter base. There isn't much difference in feel between these and the old/common version, though. (Edit: see photos from '15 with them, could be the older version actually.)

Still wonder why, for instance, Zowie don't use them, as they would play like a nice middle-ground main switch, being not too hard and not too soft. Can't imagine black-blue Huanos with their long travel anywhere but scroll wheel and, maybe, side buttons.

I still prefer Huano Pink switches over the Blue Shells but I can see why some people might end up liking them due to their lower actuation force and high tactility.

welp just ordered some D2F-01F switches, hopefully they last longer than the d2fc-7n ones
