ASUS CHVF ram issue

Alright so I thought it was a video card issue at first but turns out its either ram or a ram slot. As the tital says i have the CHVF with the 0705 bios. I am running 8gb 2x4GB sticks of GSKILL. Have the bios set to default so no custom voltages or over clocks any more. If i put a stick of ram in one slot on my mobo i get all sorts of snags. Display driver will crash on boot. then it keeps trying to set it to a mystery resolution that is all blurry. I have switched around graphics cards thinking it was that but not until i took the ram out of the 3rd slot that it just worked like a dream. boot times are faster loads games quicker. has any one had this problem is it a bios issue or should i just RMA
