Yes! I think it was. I had everything working nicely then i done then updates the next day and was ever since a problem.

It's ironic you talk about System restore, as after it happend to the first time i done a system restore and restored it back to late the previous night and F*** me if it removed everything and put me back to scratch one.

It removed all the drivers, updates, even personal files (Well sorta, it just decided to rename all the user names from Example to Example.Computername (very strange)

And i tried to do a System Restore un-do (re-Running the wizard gives this option) and every time it would fail.

I've just completely installed Internet Explorer from Add or Remove programs and reinstalled (again) using a downloaded .exe (Again) in preparation for Ken1649 response and it appears to be working fine now. Hurrraahhh!

I'm currently installing all the updates (2 important) and 11 optional, i'll post back if it fixes it.

He had IE6 when he re-installed Windows, which actually suggests that his using Windows XP.

@Html33:

* If you have the Windows XP run SFC /scannow in the command prompt.
* If that still does not work do a repair installation of Windows XP.
* Install another browser. Sorry Could not help myself.

By the way, speaking of IE6 and IE8, why is overclock.net not working with IE?
