First time OCing - voltage and PSU question

Thread Starter
Hey all, this is my first time overclocking and am running on an ASUS|P8Z68-V LE Z68 LGA1155 R mobo, INTEL|CORE I5 2500K 3.3G 6M R cpu, ANTEC|CP-850 850W RT, and a pretty good cpu fan. What I'm wondering is in terms of CPU voltage, is it ok to be running closer to 1.4V than 1.3 with my cooling? Probably many more questions to follow; I'm still at college and am actually going to construct this thing when I get back for Thanksgiving - have the parts at home.

Here's the full build:

Yeah the CM 212+ can handle 1.4v and keep the temps around 75C during stress testing. Grab a second fan to for push/pull also. As long as you don't get a crappy chip that should get you to around 4.5GHz. Any more and you will want better cooling.

You can also get a lower PSU if you're just running 1 560. Check out the PSU calculator here, will tell you exactly what you need.
