[Guru3d] Corsair 500R Review

Quote:
We recently reviewed the Corsair Carbide 400R, a mid-tower chassis that came out surprisingly well, offering good features for a fair price. With the Carbide series Corsair entered a more mainstream market, and as we all know that means a cheaper product often resulting in stripped away features, style and functionality. But the 400R most certainly did not disappoint.
They seem to love the case, Gave it a great review

I searched for this on the forum and didn't find it so if this is a re-post let me know!

Wow, I really like the white Corsair cases.

Looks really good. Maybe in the same class as the CM 690 II

Yeah the white and black combo makes it a real eye catcher. I'm planning a White/Black/Red build..... Someday

I actually like the 500R quite a bit in terms of looks, but reading that 400/500R thread here on OCN is definitely making me hold back.

Every early product has it's quirks. Like corsair's 650D and the buzzing fan controller as an example. It was fixed.

Yeah there are some issues for some people like the PSU not lining up with the screw holes on the case, missing proprietary screws and a bowed out mobo tray for starters.
