Yep, they work beautifully. They are as some research reveals a little treble-heavy but overall they sound pretty damn good. I was hoping to pick up the second pair but this lady had already bought them.

@MyGaffer -

They are hooked up to a cheap HTIB receiver from 2002/2003 but do the job nicely. I'm sure they'd sound even better with better equipment. On Toslink from my Xonar DG through the receiver with games, it's pretty intense. They add nice mid and higher end bass to the sub which fills out nicely. Music sounds great too.

I'm really happy, but I'm going to see if I can resell them for a nice profit.

OH, the CR6's are awesome as well - they don't compete with the Yamahas, but then again the cones are much smaller. However, they're really nice - well built, great sound, excellent mids and warm highs.
