That also was part of the 116 code. Try using the onboard instead of a GPU to see if it boots.

Hi,
I have 2500k and P8Z68 V Pro and it does seem to have some trouble with the 0801 bios from the 0706.
Firstly my POST time went from 13.7s (already a LONG time) to over 15s.
Then my memory which was running at 1600-9-9-9-24-1 was starting to get unstable: I got a few I/O memory errors from Windows.
After my reboot from this error it could not recognize my Vertex 3 MI, I had to disconnect my secondary HDD for it to boot into the SSD.
The memory worked fine at it's rated XMP of 2T, but it was stable before bios 0801 at 1T.
It's probably because of the "improved memory compatibility" in 0801 that caused this.

Thanks for the reply and not that i am glad or anything but it's stupid human nature to say glad i am not the only one. The DEBUG led on my 590 really was the cherry on top of the cake :\\ . I will reinstall 0801 , clear cmos , do a harware reset and post my results in a few hours. Hope it fixes our pc !

so NOTHING ! I updated my bios to 0801 again, reset CMOS, Hardware Reset and nothing. My PC powers on, goes thru boot led, cpu led, mem led, then at VGA led it stays on for 2 secs and my pc powers off, then powers on again and it goes to windows this time !

Sadly, the last thing I could think of is defective hardware

I hope that there is another explanation cause I know how you would feel too and it sucks.
