Need help overclocking. Cant get stable 2500k - Page 2

Ask in ASUS thread why? That's a Gigabyte mobo UD-5 I might be reading things wrong (again, confused, are the idle and load screenshots of the same cpu speed?) but I'm seeing 1.440v load at 4.8. Definitely in range of what's expected, if slightly on the high side. I think of my cpu as very average, I run 1.416/1.424 load at 4.8.

You should ask in the Asus thread for your mobo for help with settings, because I doubt you're chip is That bad.
Gigabyte board, doesn't appear to be that popular.
I unno i tryed every diff option and this is what i ended up with i never goes above 1.450v anymore i adjusted llc a little. What other components?
some more results

Make sure the stuff like ram has the correct voltages and timings and that your GPU OC isn't causing problems because I've seen weirder things. Though I'm not fond of the GB boards this round, they are very solid and their OC settings are top notch. Though not a lot of people might have your board the settings are nearly identical for most GB boards in the same line.

I unno i know nothing of intel always used amd.

If you're not sure about the ram run memtest to see if it's causing BSOD's

Already ran memtest passed.
I unno guess its just a bad chip
Ill listen to any suggestions to lower voltage.

I wouldn't know enough about the GB to help too much, but turning off all power saving features might help. I would say definitely to NOT use offset and to use whatever LCC gives you the same vcore on idle and load. If you can get to 4.6 with locked in settings @1.35 or less 24/7 I would consider it much better than what you have now since spikes in your current config would spike up to 1.5 and more. I'm not of fan of 1.5 when you're not even hitting 5.GHz. Here's a few pics of my settings as they should be called same in your board for the most part I assume. Good luck!
