There set at 200 but board has vr12 chip it just the chip needs alot of voltage to stablize...Guide says 4.5 norm is 1.35 or lower just moving multi to 45 moves the volts to 1.37 but it bsod as soon as i try to stress it, move to 1.4 and its stable so far. Bad chip? What bios are you using? Ive read all the sandy oc guides can you give me pics of your bios settings please? Maybe there is something im missing.
backed down to 4.5 at 1.404 under load been running prime for few hours now and so far so good. But i want to run it at 4.8..... I have the cooling lol this is lame

Dude keep at it. A water cooler setup can be like overkill for a 2500k, so you can get your 4.8GHz. Try to fiddle with some of the other settings, like llc, a few bumbs in voltage with these can make it more stable, and you've only got a P67a-ud5 motherboard, so I think thats were you problem is...

So your saying its the motherboard? Thought voltages lie in the chip?

Here's a post where I helped someone with a Gigabyte board:

There's another one out there that has a bunch of bios pics with my recommendations, I can't find it right now.
