Battlefield 3 Crossfire issues? Complete list of known fix's here! 12.1 A and 11.12 CAP 2 inside! - Page 11

Lowering CPU back to stock freq didn't help at all, most definitely looks like a driver/engine issue at this point as far as I can tell.

I also have two 6850s in crossfire. I get around 70-100 fps on ultra (aa off). The issues I'm having is that my fps will drop to about 1-10 fps for a couple seconds, then it will be fine. The one map with the tunnel will cause SUPER fps drops just looking at the tunnel haha. Are these the "stuttering" issues people are having as well? I have the latest 11.10 and cap4 that was released last night. The game also runs really great with only 1 card, so I'll be using that until there is a fix found. They are bringing out new drivers everyday so I hope this will be fixed. I bought another 6850 just for this game =(

I've tried almost everything in this thread, still can't get crossfire on my 6970s working.

I actually get BETTER performance with crossfire disabled at 5940x1080 resolution eyefinity.

Game doesn't even load (just blank black screen) with 11.10 drivers with cap 4
Game loads but crossfire is worse with 11.9 with cap 4

I tried disabling ULPS in my registry, didn't do anything.

There anything else I can really do here besides wait for the next round of drivers or cap 5?

One thing that cant be stressed enough, is doing the uninstall and clean drivers out of the system before updating/reinstalling. It caused me issues in the past, but now i have no trouble as long as i follow my usual steps.

Uninstall, reboot
Safe mode, Run Driver Sweeper, clean ATI, Reboot
Install Driver, Reboot
Install CAP, Reboot

Although im not running CAP anymore and it runs better with trifire

I'm having (knock on wood) good performance using two 5850s in crossfire playing BF3 maxed out (everything aside from AA). I was incredibly worried with issues and crashes, but I've only ever had one issue so far... and that was my screen flickering green for a few minutes.

I'm using 11.9 with CAP 3, I believe.

official 11.10 with cap 4, still has me playing with 1 card disabled on an 6870x2

So after my Atiman experiment I got everything working again last night and with new WHQL driver + Cap4 my FPS actully went down and drops to 0 FPS returned. The setup worked better with Prev3 + Cap4.

I can't uninstall my application profiles, just blue screen. Tried both Windows/CCleaner uninstall and opening the installer and clicking uninstall. Nothing works. Any idea?

If you still have the CAP.exe file, click it and select "remove". You should have "instal", "repair/modify" the "remove".

Do not uninstall from Control Panel Programs and Features.
