Could be memory. I got 16gb and new running butter smooth. It could have been me forgetting to upping the voltage since I used one of the memory profiles in bios.

Good spot, turn HT off if you havent.

One thing I did which I found on the forums regarding stuttering, was to turn off HPET. This is on an AMD system. It was one of a few things i did, and never really looked into what it is in depth. Cant say whether or not it had an effect, but could be worth investigating.
How do you go about disabling HPET? I've never seen this.

I believe it was in power management in BIOS, but its in there somewhere

Duknov, i remember reading elsewhere in the past someone resolving micro stutter issues by manually setting fan controls for the gpu instead of letting it auto. Apparently it was constantly changing speed up and down, which for some reason was hindering the CPU. Maybe worth a look also.

Thanks for the tip. I tried that just now and unfortunately it did not make a difference. The conclusion is: we wait for AMD to release a new "fixed" 11.11 driver to iron out all the crossfire problems. I pretty much give up, having spent a great deal of time fidgeting around. The ball is now in AMD's court.

Have you tried framerate capping? BF3 doesn't have a command for it, but you can use 3rd party apps like Dxtory, Bandicam or TommTi SS tool to cap the fps. Set it below what you are normally getting and see if it makes a difference. Personally it removes all microstutter in every game I've tried, as long as the FPS stays capped. I can play BF3 with eyfefinity @35 fps with no stutter whatsoever.

Actually BF3's Vsync uses real triple buffering so there is no input lag. It works brilliantly and you can cap your FPS that way and have no tearing at the same time.

650w PSU, just happens on BF3 (works magically on BC2). Will definitely try backing down the overclock to stock freq when I get home from classes late tonight since at this point it's worth a shot ><

Tried using ATIMAN last night and got BSOD on reboot. Could not repair or recover. Never using it again. Followed all instructions to a word and spent 3 hours reinstalling everything. I'll be using Driver Sweeper from now on, never had a problem with it.

Sorry you had a problem with ATIMan and had to reinstall everything, that's harsh.

ATIMan worked perfectly for me, but I will state it again USE IT AT YOUR OWN RISK.
