HD7's don't have keyboards. :/

I just keep the screen protector on mine. No scratches no matter what pocket it goes in.

...You do realize Corning has already patented this? Seriously, the whole "ZOMG APPLE'S GOING TO PATENT THIS!!" joke is getting really old really fast.

The best they can do is maybe get an exclusive distributor contract with Corning.

I don't follow who you refer to because I'm not joking or trying to be a comedian, the closest would be a satire of it.

Sorry, actually it's an HTC 7 Pro. I have a screen protector too, but it melted after an hour-long motorcycle ride when it was 99 degrees outside. It still protects the screen but looks pretty ugly lol. It was supposed to cover the entire phone but the manufacturer (Zigg? Zagg? Something like that) messed up and only the screen part was actually the right shape and size.

How can Lotus Glass come after Gorilla Glass? I was expecting Panda Glass!

I thought I was a genius for thinking of this! Well played sir

The only reason I can think of is if the glass is more transparent and lets more light through, then the screen's brightness can be lower with the same amount of net light reaching your eye. If the brightness is lower, it will lower power consumption. I'm curious to see how big of a different the glass makes on brightness though.
