will xspc restop hurt 35x performance?

Yes, I know 35x doesn't need a restop because its top is already very good.

Yes I know it voids the warranty.

Here's the deal... I bought a new 35x from a member here to replace my burned up 355, and I'm not sure I would be able to get swiftech to honor a warranty/RMA if I needed it anyways since I bought it second hand, even though the pump has never been used!

I don't have another res other than my xspc top, and I don't have a tee/fittings or enough tubing to make a t-line (plus bleeding is a b****).

Will the xspc top hurt performance? Will I have to worry about heat buildup like my 355 because the top makes it too efficient? (I would think not because of the 35x's PMW control)

Does anyone know if Swiftech would indeed warranty a never used product that I bought off of a member here?

I could probably jury rig a tee that won't leak until I can get proper parts but the goal is to not spend anymore money here, but overall not hurt performance.

Cheers and thanks ahead of time for any answers provided.

I think its about equal to the 35X top. Why not just buy a cheap T and tubing at Lowes or Home Depot?
