Anyone got this build? I just got it and i want to know if it would be able to run Battlefield 3 on high at least or record gameplay as i play. So your testimonies will be appreciated!

well i am running at max settings with a i7 950 at 4.0 with HT and sli 480 SC edition. Don't know if that helps at all. Your processor is more than enough but the GPU meets there recommended standards for high settings

Lol i just got that processor cause i had the budget, don't want to buy a processor and then have to change it with every game released. AMD really pissed me off, had the Phenom II X4 955, couldn't stand that thing with what i liked doing, recording, commentating, youtubing and playing BFBC2 on max. I would get fps lag when i see huge explosions and i don't think it was my card.

I get around 40+ FPS on high is that good enough for ya? oC 2500k at 5ghz

I'm getting around 100fps without recording and probably somewhere in the 50's with recording (FRAPS).

I really don't get this FPS thingy, When i play Black Ops, they say fps is best at 125, BFBC2 best at 60, so is BF3 is best at 30 i guess?

I wish I knew of dxtory before I spent 30 on FRAPS. Thanks for the heads up.

By brother has 1 6870 in his rig with a much weaker processor. He plays everything on high, motion blur off (it sucks in MP), 2xAA, post off, and SSAO on. 50 FPS constant

I have a Q8200 and a 6870, my GPU is only being used 70%.
I can play on a mixture of high and ultra on my TV with a resolution of 1368x768 and it's super smooth. I'm guessing around 50-60.
With a 2600K I'm guessing you could run it pretty well on a 1920x1080 or something similar. I'm not sure what else you use your computer for but a 2500K and a pair of 6870's or a 570 would be better.

And before anyone tells me my computer is wasted on that resolution, I'm planning to move it back to my monitor soon.
