I suppose so. meh... maybe I'm not that into it. I started with last years halloween update and i was addicted for a few months then i was like mehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...
I had a water elevator before it was cool
(well not really, I made an elevator around november last year) It is a great game and all, but I could never get into the mutliplayer aspect. I tried various mods and it kept me going till april, but then I pretty much stopped altogether.
so no, for me a good fps (like BF3) is way better. The multiplayer components and good sp keeps me going. H3 (yes halo 3 suckers, h2 and h1 too most def), lasted about 10 months (longest a game lasted me, of playing nearly every day and in the end once every few days), followed by MW and MW2 (I miss my xbox sometime). I expect BF3 to have a very long lifespan and so will MW3 when I play at a friends house.
imo fps > sandbox style gameplay. I'd play GMOD if I wanted that much sandbox adventure.
