q9550 - 14deg diff between cores

When I am rendering in CS5.5 PP, my cores are at 51-44-37-49
Is that normal?
It's been like that for a while, but I just thought I might ask.

Does each core have a similar level of load? Is that just an extreme example, is the ~14 degree difference common?

Do other programs show the same disparity?

It isn't too uncommon for temperatures to vary a bit. I know earlier Wolfdales (like the C0 stepping Core 2 Duo E8400) were infamous for having varying and/or inaccurate sensors. Some CPUs just run that way as well, and the cooler and I think even the orientation/direction can play a part (albeit small).

all heavy CPU apps have the same result. the loads are even. the disparity is from 10-14 degrees celcius.

on idle, it's 37,37,30,37
OC'd to 3.6 with 1.25 vcore

does that seem right?

I just installed a corsair h60 and really don't feel like ripping everything out to lap it.
