Nuff said. Obviously used for hardcore gaming. Friend is a hardcore gamer, sponsered for dota, hon, etc...

All other data is on spreadsheet. $1k build, gotta be beastly. As it is. Tax is included on CPU/MOBO combo already.

*NOTE: All the lower end microcenter bundles with i5-2500k are iffy cause all the VRMs except on last two boards are not heatsinked :x
sad days

600w good enough to hold off on single GPU solutions? Or should I bump $10 for 700w modxstream?

OOPS. 6950 XFIRE RIPS. No microstuttering @ that tier!
What wattage for 6950x2?

500W is more than enough for single GPUs, I'd recommend anything Coolermaster, Corsair, Seasonic or the NZXT Hale range.

Rig looks good. My only gripe is the case, but each to their own. Antec don't really have the best of cable management...

Would it be worth using 6950's for xfire and upgrading the PSU? corsair tx750m >>>>>> 600w modxstream pro in terms of longterm reusability. or just go single card solution 580?
