Gtx 275 vs hd 5770 - Page 3

I would like to rage right now but it would be immature, i wasted 250€ on Radeon 6870.
WORTH IT? no.
AMD DRIVERS? blatant fail
Bulldozer? FAIL.

Nvidia is alot better, If you asked GTX 460 OR 6870?
everyone would suggest you 6870..

but honestly going with Nvidia you will get much better drivers etc..
Some people have problems with newest drivers, but you can always go back to old one
meanwhile AMD has nothing to offer, nothing but fail...
because AMD fails that is why so many people are using OLD 2010 drivers..

my opinion

According to the reviews there was a problem with DX10 and BF3. It doesn't play right on DX10 or 9 cards, and for reasons currently unknown.

Well don't mean to troll or anything did you say you set bf3 to ultra? That isn't very advised as most people can barely run that well with a 580.

Secondly did you try nvidia's new drivers? Helped out bf3 performance a lot.

And your Opinion is based on the fact you are not intelligent enough to figure out AMD's drivers? LOLZ!
The Drivers are not a problem. The problem is PEBKAC.

I also get that same shadow bugs, though it doesn't bother me very much I do notice it. I'm actually surprised the game plays this well with this old card but now it has definitely started to show its age. Running maximum OC and can't go any higher frown.gif

Also remember that cards newer than the GTX2xx/ATI 4xxx gen have a much higher minimum fps so fps don't fluctuate as much.
