Normally I'd agree 100% with you.

Not in this case though. The "rare" (LOL) issue of bsod has been seen to happen in drives that were "stable" for months. This firmware is the one and the only true chance for a fix and should be flashed to any and all drives on the P67 platform.

Same as every OCZ 3 series owner should be on 2.15 especially using p67.

It's not a matter of if the drive will bsod, it's a matter of when. The flaw is in the firmware.

Yes but Corsair has yet to release a firmware based on the Sandforce claimed fix. Once they do obviously it is the one to be using.

1.3.3 was released 4 days ago. It should contain the bsod fix as sandforce sent it to them on October 17th.

A lot of people have reported this has fixed most of their BSOD issues. I'm glad I bought it, it went sold out on newegg 2 hours later

Hmmmm I'm in the same boat now too. I had my mind set on the M4 after seeing the 009 update, but now that the SF22xx controller has no issues... maybe i shall change my mind?

I have the 2nd fastest sf2281 drive in the V3 max iops.

I prefer the M4 as my boot drive regardless if bsod is fixed or not.

The access time and 4k read of the M4 makes it faster.
