Samsung 830 It is here, now one of the best SSD on the market has hit the shelves. Slightly over your budget but well worth it.

depends do you want to spend $195 or $229

gotta consider price vs performance theyre pretty close for the most part....but if it uses sandforce id still stay away

Samsung is the only SSD that is made completely by them. Controller, chips everything.

I would try the samsung one. It looks good indeed.

The crucial M4 is also a good choice. But like most people said, don't get a sandforce drive.
