When the iPhone 4S spec sheet was officially revealed in early October, consumers were disappointed to learn that Apple’s newest iPhone doesn’t support 4G, or fourth-generation wireless data connectivity, as rumored. But now it looks like a 4G/LTE iPhone will arrive next year. According to sources that just spoke with DigiTimes, Apple will “join the LTE club†in 2012.

I don't get why people would think Apple would add in the "4G" into a upgraded version of the 4. I think it would only make sense to release it with a new line of phones (iP5) along with things we are already able to do with phones. (No bash intended )

Because it makes more sense to slowly add technology and release iPhone 4x, iPhone 4xx, iPhone 4xsssxxsxsxsG THEN you release iPhone 5, duh.

I dont even know why the bother with naming it anymore, why dont they just say, "...the next iTeration is this: X.x"
