120hz/1920x1200 monitor?

Does it even exist?

Looking for a 120hz monitor w/1900x1200 resolution (and 27" or less). Starting to feel like Ahab. Any recommendations, or explanations for the absence of such a product, are appreciated.

edit: now that the thread is almost exhausted, I thought I'd put the correct resolution in the title.redface.gif

120mhz? If it does i'd like to see it

Edit: now I look stupid!

I don't know of any. I know 27" is the max but really, I've never really noticed the difference between 1080p and 1200p. Just me maybe.

not that i know of, only 1920x1080p... at 27 inches max... no higher resolution... i'm guessing because of bandwidth limitations on dual link DVI's...

Max 1920x1080 that I know off.

DVI-Dual Link max speed = 7.92 Gbit/s

(1920x1200) x 120Hz x 24 bits per pixel = 6.63 Gb/sec near the limit of DVI-DL.

It might hard to find a monitor meet your needs perfectly. If u wanna a 1920x1080 (1080p), 120Hzmonitor you might try this ViewSonic 24" 120Hz 1080p 3D-Ready LED Display .
If u wanna 1920*1200, 120hz monitor, you might try this dell. Both are nice stuff.

The Alienware OptX is branded as Dell, so theoretically, they do have two 120Hz monitors.

Since AW is now Dell's Gaming oriented division, it makes sense for them to release all gaming oriented monitors branded as Alienware from now on
