I'd buy 6950 for the Vram.

They are still flipping the switch to the 6970 bios.

Yes, that is exactly what his post said.
Ok so no more flashing is all I guess. They just made it easier lol.

Let me put it to you like this....If I were building another system for myself I would go Nvidia. On the other hand, if I was building one for my 7 yr old son I would go AMD....
Very biased opinion, ya think?

Haha. Yeah, it does look pretty easy. Of course, I KNOW I'd be one of the ones that got a fail rofl.

HardAMD is the ONLY place you'll see results like that. I wonder why you only use bechmarks from there? However, when it comes to other benchmarks you claim Nvidia is cheating??? What do you mean by that exactly? You sound like a child who thinks his toy is the best thing since sliced bread.....AMD cards struggle with tessellation, core for core the 570/580 is stronger than any single gpu AMD currently has to offer. Truth hurts, doesnt it? I'm not saying that the 6950/6970 arent good options , because they offer the best price/performance ratio on the market.

Lol, I'm not drinking the Kool-aid, I told him to check the bf3 performance thread for results, I said the extra vram may come in handy.

If anything I'm a nvidia fanboy, but for the budget conscious builder, I just think AMD has some nice offerings. I still wouldn't use one in my rig, because I only buy nvidia, and more specifically EVGA. I generally don't care too much about budget, and like to watercooling and OC. Mmm, that was a delicious glass of EVGA Kool-aid, there now I have drank the Kool-aid.

Exactly. I think you'll be happy with it, especially coming from a gts250.

Nice. Honestly there wasnt a "bad" choice with either option, see you on the Battlefield.

Single GTX 570 is faster than single 6970. I don't know about scalling now, but AMD cards used to works better only in CF mode, better scalling than Nvidia cards. So if You're not planning on getting second one, just get GTX 570, it's a beast. PhysX for free included
